We just enjoyed a very happy holiday season. Between baking cookies, shopping, attending parties, and introducing Evan to all the excitement and fun of the season, we had a pretty great time. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day were spent in our house, as we relaxed together and started new traditions as a family. On the 26th we made the drive up to Pennsylvania to see our families, which made the holiday even more special. To top it off, this year's First Night Raleigh was the biggest one ever with 80,000 people in attendance. It feels great to be a part of something so successful that grows with each year. We made wonderful memories over the holidays and I can't wait to do it again next year.
My experience as a mom is limited but I've already learned more in this role than any other. Every day brings a new lesson, a new memory, and a new headache.
