Tomorrow Evan will be 22 months old. His daddy and I can't believe it. We often wonder where the time went and how we can possibly be parents to such a big boy already. It has certainly been a wonderful adventure so far and we couldn't be happier with what a kind, funny and smart little boy Evan is becoming. He's so full of personality and is interested in so many different things. He loves playing with his tools, listening and looking for trucks, trains and airplanes (anything with wheels really!) and reading books about animals. Evan continues to be a great eater and tries most things we put on his plate, with, of course, the exception of meat and mashed potatoes. He especially hates mashed potatoes, much to Mommy's and Nana's disappointment. He is talking more and more and each word gets clearer by the week. Today he said, "Fat Tuesday", which his daddy and I found funny. I guess that trip to New Orleans when he was 6-months old really stuck with him! He certainly does some quirky things and makes us laugh on a daily basis. When he eats cereal, Evan drinks the milk out of the bowl before eating the cereal. He often walks around wearing only one sock. We're pretty sure he hates having warm feet. There is never a dull moment but we wouldn't have it any other way.
A hammer in each hand. Naturally!

Eating his Valentine's Day rice krispie treat - he's a big fan!
Future goalie?
and on top of all that he is a pretty snazzy dresser too--love that winter hat!
